This beautiful 1906 poster was designed by Anton Reckziegel(1865-1936) for chemins de fer électriques (National Railway), and depicts the village of Gruyère, Switzerland and its surroundings in a romantic turn of the century style.  Gruyère is known for its cows which are known for their creamy milk used for desserts and cheese. Anton Reckziegel was one of Switzerland's best travel poster designers during the turn of the century.
